Do you forget to eat lunch at the market? Don’t have time to queue? Pick up a lunch order form at bump in, fill it out, order and pay before the market opens with your foodie of choice. Don’t forget to set yourself a reminder to pick it up!
Photos of our markets can be found on Facebook. If you are looking for stall inspiration this is a great place to visit.
Please read the stallholder handbook before attending each market! It’s full of all of the information you need to know, and we update it regularly. We promise it’ll make your market experience even better!
Download the market checklist and work your way through our suggested four-week plan, you can thank us later.
The Barlen’s order form for the next market will be available soon!

A minimum of $10 million in Public Liability Insurance is required to attend the market. You will need cover from the day you arrive for bump-in, until the end of bump out (6pm).

Please upload your Certificate of Currency, which must include either your name, or the business name you have registered with us as a trading name. Please ensure this is a valid policy and includes the expiry date.

Foodie Specific Information, read our food and drink stall guidelines. This includes information regarding the plastic ban.

Market applications – how market EOI / acceptance works

Your registration with us is your acknowledgment that you have read and understood our terms and conditions in their entirety and that you are bound by them, including any changes to the terms and conditions.

  • Everyone on the Handmade membership list will be sent an ‘Expression of Interest’ (EOI) email asking whether you want to attend the next market.
  • Please click on the link in the email to be directed to the market application form
  • Once we receive your application you will be added to our “available stallholders” list for that event and may be offered a place for that event or a place on the wait list.
  • Approximately one week later we will send offers. If you receive a place at the next event, accept your offer by making payment. Your place is not confirmed until payment is made.
  • It’s that easy, just wait for us to contact you!
  • We curate our market selection based on a number of criteria including: product, categories, online activity, images provided etc. We also prefer the business owners themselves to attend the market.
  • Cancellations – please email market@handmadecanberra.com.au to cancel your stall and refer to Terms and Conditions.

Adding new products to your range – how to have new products approved

If you add a new product to your range that you have not been approved to sell at the market (ie. you were initially approved to sell candles and you wish to add diffusers to your range), please send an email to admin@handmadecanberra.com.au with a brief description and image of the product for us to review.

5 tips for selling at a design market

One of our stallholders has put together an informative video on attending large design markets. We think there are great tips in here and everyone could benefit from watching, thanks Sarah!
