We hold quarterly handmade markets at the Exhibition Pavilion In Canberra (EPIC). We also run online promotions and we have one of the largest Australian Made product lists in the country in our handmade directory.

  • To celebrate National NAIDOC Week, we would love to introduce you to @marrawuy_journeys 👋 ​ ​Sarah Richards is a contemporary Aboriginal Artist who creates meaningful and original artwork. Sarah founded Marrawuy Journeys with the vision of healing as individuals so we can heal as a country. Having a creative outlet has allowed Sarah to undergo a healing journey through her art, and she would like to create opportunities for others to experience the same. ​ ​Marrawuy Journeys offers original paintings and fine art prints with powerful meanings that resonate. They make practical and beautiful one of a kind products made from different textiles, with each piece being handmade. Their products range from accessories such as bags, clutches and pouches as well as homewares like cushions, throws and tableware. ​ ​Mickey and Lou are one of our new stallholders who will be attending their very first market in July, so make sure you check them out!
  • Fri-nally it's Friday 🍸 ​ Located on the Far South Coast of NSW, ​​​@ninecirclesdistillery produce small batch spirits with passion.  ​ ​Their signature gin is full of flavour with 14 different botanicals making up its complex profile.   • Nothing beats a lovely handmade vase to add a unique decorative piece to your home 🌿 ​ ​@airrmade.ceramics is a ceramicist in Sydney’s Inner-West who uses pinching and coiling techniques as well as wheel-throwing to create her hand-built items. Due to the nature of hand-crafting ceramics they all vary slightly in shape and colour making no two pieces the same. ​ Using natural materials, each piece represents the diverse tones, textures and forms of nature. Each piece encourages everyday use and stands as a beautiful addition or centrepiece to your space.

That is why we are so proud to provide a space for handmade Australian businesses to sell their products.  ​ The Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman released a report that shows that small business accounts for over 97% of all Australian businesses.   • You really can't beat a good quality soap... We think so anyway! 🧼 ​ ​@byannesoaps is a small batch soap maker located right here in Canberra, who make every product with love and care. Their range consists of beautifully scented soap bars, shampoo and conditioner bars, bath salts, balms and soap favours for special occasions. ​ ​The soaps are made in small batches, hand poured, cut and packaged using the traditional cold processed method of soap making. Each ingredient used comes from sustainable sources and due to the handmade nature of soap making, each bar varies slightly from batch to batch, so you know you're getting a truly handmade product!  ​ ​Do you have a favourite soap scent? Ours is probably Lemon Myrtle! 💛
