New designers at the Handmade Canberra Christmas Market
The Handmade Canberra Christmas Market is the biggest of our four markets and is the perfect way to get your Christmas shopping sorted. Last year our Christmas Market ran over three big days – 8, 9 & 10 December, 2023 – and over 260 stallholders showcased their products. Our Christmas market is an event each year that you do not want to miss!
Here who was new at our Christmas market last year:
Nicola Cerini hit the ground running when Melbourne women fell in love with her native flora prints on handbags. Her distinctive brand continues to create nature-inspired design for a range of applications from handbags and clothing to mugs, cushions and floor rugs. Always aiming to connect people with nature, Nicola’s biophilic philosophy emphasises beauty, practicality, high-quality, low impact and durable materials, locally made where possible with an ethical and environmental conscience.
Skye Prudence is a self taught, watercolourist and paperbark artist from the Dandenong Ranges, Victoria. With great restraint, she creates intricate freehand amalgamations of watercolour and black ink on both materials. Drawing from her knowledge and inspiration from her explorations and study through Australia, she reflects the delicate balance between Australian flora and fauna.
Kingfish & Co source materials to create unique furniture, art and homewares, giving a new life by upcycling old pieces of furniture and timbers .
Tara Casey Art creates art and products for those who appreciate the handmade. She works across different mediums, considering herself a mixed media artist, basing the majority of her work around exploring native plant life and geometric forms of shape, pattern, line and texture. Tara Casey Art provides art products containing both traditional and contemporary techniques of art making, growing and evolving as she goes. Her range includes illustrated cards, embroidery hoops, embroidered earrings, stickers, mixed media photography and prints.

Handmade in Melbourne, Little Hangry Women create miniature food jewellery, accessories and homeware to brighten up your ears and home! Taking inspiration from nostalgic eats, the best food in Australia and nature, Little Hangry Women loves sharing their craft in miniature polymer clay form! Each piece is uniquely slow made in small batches with the tiniest details to be marvelled and enjoyed by the wearer.
Fiona’s Chocolates is a small business creating artisan chocolate and gift boxes. Fiona sources quality, ethically produced couverture chocolate including 100% Australian grown cocoa and locally produced ingredients focusing on seasonal and native flavours.
Based in Castlemaine, Pud For All Seasons has fast become renowned for Traditional and Contemporary Gourmet Puddings in Australia. Handmade using free range eggs, fresh oranges and other locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. The Traditional Plum Pudding is Karen’s Grandma’s recipe. The other flavours Karen has created based on Grandmas’ original recipe. Their range also includes our ever popular Christmas Cranberry and White Chocolate Pud . They source all their ingredients and packaging as close to home as they can!
