In July 2023 the Handmade Market Canberra partnered with the Deco Hotel to present the opportunity for guests to stay in a temporarily themed artisan-curated Handmade hotel room experience combining the best of Handmade’s Australian makers and designers, with the well-appointed Deco Hotel Canberra.
This was a limited-time immersive creators experience, that was available from 30 June – 28 July 2023, where almost all of the hotel room’s hard and soft furnishings, decorative items, food, beverages and toiletries were removed and replaced with Handmade Canberra Market stallholder creations.
Not only could you stay in the room, but you could actually buy any of the Handmade items within the room, with guests enjoying these items during their stay or to take home with them.
