Spring Fashion : Handmade Clothing in Australia

Now that the cold days are behind us, it’s time to pack away your winter woollies because Spring is here! With the arrival of warmer weather, it is the perfect time for a wardrobe refresh, which is why we have created the ultimate Handmade Clothing in Australia guide for you this Spring.

Handmade is a big supporter of slow and sustainable fashion. We think it’s important to know where your garments comes from, and understand who made it. Many of our stallholders that make and sell clothes, design and print their own fabrics or source recycled or locally made materials. Most of them invent and cut their own patterns, and all of them create garments using careful construction and finishing, to ensures that each piece is not only unique, but made with love!

Visit the following Australian designers attending our Canberra Spring Market on the 21-22 September 2024, where you have the opportunity to try garments on and discover the stories behind each clothing label.
