Sheng Yi is a Malaysian-Australian visual artist based in Melbourne. She uses various traditional media to create her original artworks. In her Food Portrait collection, she searched for the simple beauty in everyday fruit and vegetables through a series of 30 portraits. Sheng now explores uncanny imagined environments through her whimsical protagonist, George the duck.
