March Market Review
MARCH MARKET REVIEW
It’s only a week since we closed the doors to the March market and like our stallholders and all of the shoppers, we were tired but happy. The Handmade team picked up some beautiful designs and delicious morsels – one of the perks of the job! – and we saw our visitors leaving with full bags and hopefully, full stomachs.
The weather was perfect for Autumn shopping, with bright sunshine filling the halls for most of the event. We saw you buying seasonal homewares, on-trend clothing and accessories, gorgeous things for the little ones and enough food and drink to last until we return on 29 & 30 June.
Everyone had obviously made their shopping lists, as there were many focused faces in the crowd. And we know that many of you visited our website and social media over the weekend too. Why not tag us in #handmadecbr to show us your purchases?
BEST IN SHOW
At each market, we do the rounds to see who has put on a show. So many stall holders make it their aim to build a beautiful stall, chat on social media and carefully put their products together. It makes it hard to decide on the award for Best in Show, but this time, the honours went to the team at Grumpys. We’re certain that many of you have tasted their divine concoctions as we see so many bottles walking out of the market. We hope you have enjoyed drinking them this week. Grumpys display was eye-catching as ever, with plenty of customer interaction by the team and great branding. Congratulations to our winners, but also to all of the stallholders who spent time planning their displays to perfection.
Thank you to all of you who donated generously to our door charity, Menslink. They do valuable work in our community and it was wonderful to see so many of you digging in your pockets for gold coins. And thank you also for supporting local and Australian small business. We can’t wait to see you at the next one – 29 & 30 June.
