Krofne is Canberra’s donut social enterprise creating employment for people with special needs. We making delicious European yeast style donuts, hand crafted in small batches, amazingly light and fluffy and always made fresh daily.
Krofne are made from a Croatian recipe that stems back for four generations. The dough is proved for a number of hours, rolled and cut, proved for a second time, fried, filled and decorated.
Krofne are made only using the freshest quality ingredients, sourced from local and regional producers.
