LouiseM studio is a small ceramics practice based in Marrickville, Sydney. Run by designer and maker Louise Martiensen and working primarily in porcelain, pieces are created that strike a balance between practicality and beauty. The range incorporates handmade tablewares and homewares including bowls, plates, cups, platters, serving bowls and vases. Utilising the slip-casting technique as a base, and adding to each piece with individual colouring, carving, pressing or glazing techniques means that no two are exactly the same. They make for wonderful gifts and special treats for your own cupboard.
