Jenna Chartrand is a professional coloured pencil fine artist specialising in realistic wildlife portraits, originally from Northern Canada, now living and practicing in Tasmania.
For Jenna, the most important part of her work is to breathe life into her subject. She works in coloured pencil because that slow process of adding layer after layer of pencil strokes gives her time to focus solely on the small details that can often be overlooked; every hair is significant.
