Based in Queensland, Birdy and Clementine is the design studio of Robyn Stewart. Driven by an earring addiction and a desire to create unique wearable art, Robyn makes porcelain earrings that are playfully elegant. It’s a slow process involving many stages and three firings in a solar assisted kiln.
Each small batch of earrings begins as a spontaneous inquiry into pattern and colour. There is no mass production, just thoughtful creation with Birdy and Clementine’s hallmark 24kt gold linework bringing the process to completion. When time permits, Robyn creates functional ware for your home, favourites being vases and serving dishes.
