Travels in Print

Sara Johnson has an obsession with travelling and fabric. What better way to combine those obsessions than Travelling Alice, which sells hand made screen-printed and hand-dyed travel related goods, including pouches, passport holders, purses, scarves and bags. Making the perfect gift or treat for your own travels, the colours are happy and the patterns are bold. Sara will be attending the Handmade Market for the first time on 10 & 11 September, 10am-4pm, so we asked her our three questions:

1. What is your business all about?
Travelling Alice is a range of travel accessories that are colourful and fun but keep you organised while on your travel adventures. All accessories are screen printed or block printed by hand in my Sydney studio.

2. What made you apply to Handmade?
The support through advertising and promotion of the Handmade Markets. Also the amazing quality of the stall holders and they are all Handmade. And of course meeting new customers.

3. Sum up your business in THREE words
Colourful, Handmade, Organised.

Thanks for talking to us Sara. We can’t wait to see you at the market.
