Award-winning studio inSync Design was established in Melbourne with a quest to create Australian made contemporary jewellery that is distinct, whimsical and cleverly constructed. Led by Iris Saar Isaacs, inSync Design combines cutting-edge technology with traditional practices to craft contemporary jewellery of exceptional quality. Iris is coming to Handmade for the first time, 10 & 11 September (10am – 4pm) so we asked her our three questions:
1. What is your business all about?
inSync design maintains a fiercely independent approach to contemporary jewellery, whilst marrying cutting-edge technology with traditional practices to craft contemporary jewellery of exceptional quality. We are a product-focused studio, launching new designs and colours seasonally. Each piece is designed to last, illustrating a minimalist aesthetic and an artisan finish, providing a timeless alternative to mass-produced jewellery.2. What made you apply to Handmade?I love canberra, but unfortunately I don’t visit too often. Recently I met a designer who attended the Handmade Market and thought it was fantastic, so I decided to give it a try… I don’t normally do markets, as I mainly supply galleries, museums and high end retail, so it will be nice to meet the end-consumer.
3. Sum up your business in THREE words:unique, distinct, high qualityThanks Iris – we can’t wait to see your designs at Handmade.
