Fairweather Friends

Fairlie Pearce is the creative mind behind Wardley & Fairweather, producing beautifully sweet illustrations as both original artworks and prints on watercolour paper which are then turned into cards. Bringing the collection to Handmade for the first time on 10 & 11 December, Wardley & Fairweather is sure to solve your Christmas card dilemmas. We asked Fairlie our three questions.

  1. What is your business all about?

Wardley & Fairweather is about creating beautiful artworks to be shared with everyone in an affordable way. Who doesn’t love a unique card with a warm and quirky character smiling back at them? Our cards aim to be the vehicle for your love letters, get well wishes, birthday love and Christmas cheer!

  1. What made you apply to Handmade?

We have been dedicated Handmade shoppers for a while and have loved supporting our fellow Australian crafters and creators. Experiencing the amazing warm atmosphere of the Handmade Markets was something we decided we finally needed to be a part of. Thanks for choosing us Handmade!

  1. What will Santa be bringing you this year?

Hopefully Santa will be bringing us some art supplies and a bigger studio to work in. Most of all we hope Santa brings us a safe holiday season for all our friends and family.

Thanks Fairlie – we’re looking forward to seeing your collection at the Market.
