Textile designer, Fiona Budzynski, runs a studio in the Southern Highlands called 4 Leaf Clover. She will be at Handmade again on 18 & 19 March with timeless patterns applied to textiles, wallpaper and homewares. We love her textiles so much at Handmade that we’ve used one of her fabulous product shots in our marketing for the March Market. We asked her some questions about her products, her trip to Canberra and her workspace.
Tell us about your business
We design & produce artisan gifts & lifestyle products that have a contemporary, yet timeless appeal. Our current range, entitled ”Botanica Australiana” is inspired by the beauty of Australian native flora & fauna.
Why do you love the Handmade Market?
The buzz, the people (behind the scenes), the great organisation, professional marketing of the event, the receptive Canberra crowds and the numbers!
What’s the best thing about Canberra?
I love the proximity to the bush. Half an hour in the car and you’re in amazing wilderness
What are you looking forward to most about your trip to Canberra?
I just love how Canberra is unique, there is no other city like it, love it or hate it!
Can you describe your studio?
I work from home. It’s a challenge space/storage-wise and for tidiness, but also very convenient with raising a family as there is much less to-ing & fro-ing between work & home commitments.
